Superior from 1915 - 1924
On 24 October 1915, Don Guanella died and it fell to Mons. Aurelio Bacciarini, who was vicar, to console his grieving children and take over the leadership of the Work: he governed from 1915 to 1921 on behalf of the Holy See and from 1921 to 1924 as superior elected in the III general chapter, consolidating the new Congregation with the start of the first apostolic school (1916) and the regular novitiate (1920).
