Born in Pollutri (Chieti) on October 22, 1878.
Died in Bologna on November 9, 1958.

After taking his religious vows in the Dominican order in Ortonovo in 1894, he was ordained a priest on 1 May 1901. Prevented from teaching by a serious illness, he devoted himself entirely to preaching, alternating between Lent and the May and October harvests in Milan, Trieste, Bologna, Florence, Naples, Palermo, Porec, Pula, Venice, etc. After having celebrated his priestly jubilee in the Holy Land in Gethsemane in 1926, in 1928 he began the practice of the Lectura Evangelii and in 1929 he gave life to the congregation of the «Servants of Eternal Wisdom», of the Pious Union «Friends of the Gospel» and of the institute «Charity of Truth», for the study, worship and dissemination of the Gospel in all environments, removing it from commercial speculation.

Father Genovesi, during his residence in Milan, held numerous conferences to the cooperators of the *Pio Ambrosian Consortium, often in the presence of Don Guanella himself. In that of March 17, 1913, on the return of Don Luigi from the United States, he wanted to greet, as a religious of an ancient order, the founder of a new order who in silence began to grow and flood the earth. The following April 27, in the church of S. Giacomo in Como, Father Genovesi praised the great heart of Don Guanella, "lovable heart with a good smile" where the miseries of the earth found a profound echo. On 30 November 1914, in a hall of the Archbishopric of Milan, the Dominican religious began a series of conferences to the ladies of the Ambrosian committee on divine Providence, to illustrate the nature, history and needs of the works founded by Don Guanella. On the occasion of the Avezzano earthquake, about which Don Guanella sent him distressing news, Father Genovesi proposed providing shelter for ten orphans, maintained by the ladies of the Pio Consortium. In his deposition at the beatification process in Milan, he recalled in particular the tenderness that Don Guanella showed to the "good sons" during a visit to the Como-Lora house and the serenity in which he had found him in his agony, saying to him: " Tell everyone I'm not afraid to die. I thank you for all the good you have done for my works, I will pray for you and for your order in heaven.' Subsequently, several times and in various places (even in the Savogno mountain for the inauguration of the first monument erected there to don Guanella) she testified in his speeches her admiration for don Luigi Guanella.
