Born in Milan on October 2, 1824.
Died in Rezzato (Bergamo) on 9 October 1898.
Dressed in the habit of the Friars Minor on August 26, 1843, he made his solemn profession exactly one year later and was ordained a priest on April 3, 1847. Vicar and guardian of the convent of Dongo, he was also definitor of the Lombard province. He helped save the convent of Rezzato from suppression, recomposing the religious community there in 1869.
Fr Arcangelo, then vicar of the convent of Dongo, was one of the most convinced appraisers of the pastoral zeal of the nearby parish priest of Pianello Lario, Don Luigi Guanella.
