Born in Veroli (Frosinone) on March 1, 1853.
Died in Rome on December 16, 1928.
Ordained a diocesan priest in 1876, three years later he entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. He was director of the Scifelli seminary, rector of the same house and convent of S. Alfonso in Rome and, three times, superior of the Roman province from 1898 to 1901, from 1905 to 1907 and from 1909 to 1912.
Father Cristini seems to be responsible for the letter from Don Guanella addressed to a «Most Reverend Provincial Father», on August 1, 1912, to report the outcome of his practices in favor of the assumption by the Redemptorists of the «magnificent sanctuary of Saronno », then entrusted to diocesan priests. It is true that Father Cristini had been replaced a few days ago (July 21, 1912, the feast of the Most Holy Redeemer) by Father Rocco De Santis (1875-1918), but, in addition to the friendship that bound him to Cristini, rector of the convent in Rome and a fellow countryman of Father *Claudio Benedetti, it does not seem probable that Don Guanella was aware of these very recent changes.
