Born in Induno Olona (Varese) on May 18, 1831.
Died in Milan on December 20, 1909.

Ordained a priest in 1854, he was appointed to teach in the seminaries of Monza and Milan. Canon of the Milan underground, he was appointed provost of S. Ambrogio in 1890, becoming mitered abbot in 1904.

Don Guanella recalls in his memoirs how Don Comi, as superior of the Ursuline nuns, dismissed Sister *Giuseppina Fusi from that institute, who then entered the Daughters of St. Mary of Providence, where she became the "pioneer" for the various foundations ¬ tions in the city of Milan. According to Don Guanella himself, Provost Comi recognized: "We had a little treasure and we didn't recognize it", and in fact he sent Don Guanella a consolatory letter after the death of that holy nun.
