Born in Bellinzona (Switzerland) on May 31, 1833.
Died in Lugano (Switzerland) on March 15, 1904.
After completing his studies in Milan, he obtained a degree in civil and canon law in Pavia. He was a professor in the Milanese seminaries, then vice-rector of the Lombard Seminary in Rome. Returning to Bellinzona in 1870, he was appointed canon theologian and then archpriest of the collegiate church. He was elected titular bishop of Gallipoli and apostolic administrator of Lugano on 20 September 1887.
Several times Msgr. Molo gave proof of his benevolence for the Guanellian work: he blessed the * Rossi house-asylum in Capolago, to which he assured the privilege of keeping the Blessed Sacrament, and conferred the priestly order on some Guanellian clerics. Don Guanella was present at his funeral, "splendid for concourse of people and clergy".
