Born in Naples on January 12, 1843.
Died there on 10 September 1908.

Managing director of the prefecture of Arezzo, he was then prefect of the same capital, and of the offices of Belluno, Lecce, Catanzaro, Catania, Venice, Palermo, Bari and Livorno. on 1 November 1899 he was appointed to temporarily hold the prefecture of Rome. Having become holder on February 16, 1900, he remained in office until March 1, 1908, when he was retired due to advanced age and length of service. On March 4, 1904, he was made a senator.

Don Guanella wrote to him on 7 October 1907, in response to a prefectural note which indicated the conditions for the admission of deficient, underage or adult women to the Pius X hospice in Rome, confirming acceptance with only two reservations.
