Died in Irun (Spain) on February 16, 1917.

He made his first profession among the priests of the Sacred Heart of Betharram on 26 September 1880, and was ordained a priest on 19 December 1885. Initially a missionary in the mother house, in 1901 he was entrusted with the parish of Lestelle, which he held until his expulsion from the France in 1903. Subsequently, he was sent first to the Buena Vista residence in Irun (Spain) and then, as founder, to the Italian residence in Traona, where he remained for only a year, before returning to Spain.

Father Marque, together with his confrere *Armand Audin, were the first Betharramites to arrive in Traona, personally accompanied by Don Guanella on 16 August 1904, after having made them stay overnight in the house *Asilo degli Ulivi in ​​Menaggio. In his letters to his superiors, the French religious spoke of don Guanella as «un vrai saint qui remuel ciel et terre pour procurer la glorie de Dieu et le salut des âmes», of a «saint homme», «l'homme principal de la Providence dans notre fondation d'Italie».
