The consulta is an assembly of confreres convened for the purpose of:
- consolidate unity and promote the development of the activities of the Congregation through the exchange of ideas and experiences;
- verify and stimulate the implementation of the decisions of the general chapter and of the programmed plans; - deal with the most important business;
- evaluate the single experiments started.
It is convoked by the superior general during the third year after the closure of the ordinary chapter
