Disability and life planning at the CEI conference in Bergamo: "From assistance to leadership"

The three-day conference in Bergamo for the 5th National Conference on the Pastoral Care of Persons with Disabilities, sponsored by the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), concluded. The focus was on life planning as a paradigm shift. Sister Veronica Donatello, head of the CEI Service, said: "The Church can be the bridge that leads to a dignified life." Francesco Cannella, national coordinator of ARIS for neurodevelopmental disorders and director of activities at the Casa San Giuseppe Opera Don Guanella in Rome, also spoke.
