I thank the Lord and my brother, Fr. Fabio Pallotta, for inviting me to participate in my fourth Assembly of the St. Louis Guanella Delegation, attended by 32 brothers from the Guanellian missions scattered throughout Spain, Romania, Poland, and Germany.

These were days filled with prayer, learning about Fr. Giovanni Vaccari, and touching testimonies of charity.

During my visit to Turin, I was struck by the evangelical and contemporary testimony of Saints Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo, a true prodigy of charitable initiatives; of Saint John Bosco, a friend of Don Guanella who believed holiness consisted in being very cheerful; and of Gianni, an educator at Sermig, founded by the lay Franciscan Ernesto Olivero with the current slogan "goodness is disarming."

At our assembly held at the Guanellian house in Barza d'Ispra, we invited and interviewed our fellow friar Don Marco Grega, an expert on religious life and governance, on various topics of Guanellian religious life and our current "mixed-race" communities spread across 24 nations.

On the afternoon of March 12, we listened with great interest and amazement to the testimony of Father Domenico Scibetta, director of the Barza House, and Father Maestro, Father Agostino Frasson, my great friend, and Father Leo Bigelli on the new Guanellian frontiers... Truly, "we cannot stop..."

I close this little article, a memorial of these happy and fraternal days, with my artistic motto: "Bibidi Bobidi Bu, he who loves more wins."

Deo gratias

Don Arcangelo
