We meet in Gualdera under the motto of the wind, as the Guanellian Family, to deepen our understanding and return to the sources of the Guanellian Charism and revive "strong intentions for good."
Charisma is not something added from the outside, but rather the full gift of the Holy Spirit, which helped Don Guanella reveal himself for who he is. The Holy Spirit did not transform the human face of our founder, but revealed who he was, intimately, in God's plan; it did not change his identity, but made it visible, transparent, and legible as God's message to humanity.
As our Superior General rightly states in his greeting, "Formation is an experience of the heart." For us, living this formation course on the Charism as a Guanellian family means assimilating its sentiments, that is, forming the heart of Christ within us.
