On Saturday 28 June, the Guanellian Family of the Servants of Charity, the Daughters of St. Mary of Providence and the Guanellian Cooperators, together with some of the faithful from our parishes, gathered at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls to experience their Jubilee.
After an initial prayer, in procession, behind the cross, we went towards the Holy Door and, after having passed through it, in front of the tomb of the apostle Paul, we renewed the profession of faith and prayed according to the intentions of the Pope.
At the end we celebrated the Holy Mass which was presided over by Dom Donato Ogliari, abbot of San Paolo fuori le mura, who, during the homily, invited the pilgrims to recognize their own poverty and misery in the face of the infinite mercy of Jesus who urges us to have faith and trust in the Lord even when everything does not appear clear to us, and to place ourselves in his hands and in the hands of Mary, our heavenly mother, so that together they may lead us towards the port of salvation.
This special event, included in the calendar of the Jubilee 2025, represented for all the pilgrims of hope gathered here a moment of profound spirituality and communion for all the members of our spiritual Family.
